Nature of Services

Our services are professional consultancy services. We do not offer medical treatment, and our services do not replace medical care when needed. If you require medical attention, we will help you find appropriate medical resources.

Consultant-Client Relationship

The relationship between you and your consultant is professional. Personal relationships are not appropriate. Business relationships outside of the consultation context are also inappropriate. Such connections compromise the effectiveness of consultation.

Scope of Practice

Our practitioners are professionals who work within their scope of practice and competence. We will refer you when your needs fall outside our knowledge.

Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement. We will confirm appointments in advance. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointments. Otherwise, Late arrivals result in shortened sessions

Cancellation Policy

24-Hour Notice: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations

Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee

No-Shows: Failure to attend without notice will result in charges for the full session

Emergency Exceptions: We understand that genuine emergencies occur and will consider these on a case-by-case basis

Rescheduling

We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule canceled appointments within a reasonable time frame.

Fees and Payment

Service Fees

Session fees are established at the beginning of our relationship. Fees are adjusted annually with a 30-day written notice period. Corporate consultation fees are negotiated separately for each engagement

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made. We accept Bank transfer, cheque, and major credit cards. We DO NOT accept cash payment (s). Outstanding balances over 60 days will be liable to interest charges. Returned cheque will incur extra fees to “you” as the client or “your” organization

Insurance

We will provide the necessary documentation for insurance reimbursement. But, you are responsible for verifying your insurance coverage, as you stay responsible for all charges, regardless of insurance coverage

We can’t guarantee insurance reimbursement
